| SEALING PROCEDURE REEFER/AIR FRESH VENTS |
| We have established an increasing number of containers to be delivered at the MSC Home Terminal with incorrect sealing. MSC whishes to advise you that it is the Shippers obligation to properly seal the container, on the therefore allocated location, in compliance with ruling regulations. As of april 15th all containers which fail to comply with the attached instruction will be sealed by the Terminal Operator for account of the cargo. In addition to the door-seals special attention is required for sealing of the “air fresh vents” of reefer-containers. All MSC reefer-containers are properly air fresh vent sealed upon empty release from the respective depots. When reefer-containers are returned full at the MSC Home Terminal with incorrect, or no air fresh vent seals at all , the Terminal Operator will seal the air fresh vents for account of the cargo. MSC will be obliged to charge you for the respective costs amounting to Euro 50,-- per air fresh vent. More info |

| Pls be informed that from the 1st of May 2010 MSC rail shuttle will stop between Rail Service Center, Waalhaven and MSC home terminal, kaai 730, Antwerp/v.v. The last delivery date for export containers will be the 27th of April 2010. New delivery address by truck or barge from the 28th of April 2010 will be: Barge Centre Waalhaven, Waalhaven WZ nr.62 via De Ophemertstraat, Harbournr.2503, Rotterdam. New delivery address for delivery by rail from the 17th of May 2010 will be: Rotterdam Container Terminal, Missouriweg 17, Harbournr.7220, Maasvlakte-Rotterdam. |
| Improved service to Houston |
| Please be advised that MSC will start a new direct service to the Mexican Gulf ex Antwerp. As of the beginning of July the so called Mexico Express Service will be operational. This means that we can offer a direct call to Houston in just 19 days; this is almost 1 week faster than our current transit time to Houston. We expect to have informed you sufficiently. | New Mexico Express Service |
| In response to market demand MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company is pleased to announce the introduction of a new dedicated express service between Europe and Mexico. This service development will provide better transit times between Europe and Mexican ports, with a reduction in transit time of ten days between the main European Ports and East Coast Mexican ports. With five vessels of approximately 2000 TEUS capacity, the rotation of the Mexico Express service will be as follows: Antwerp, Bremerhaven, Veracruz, Altamira, Houston, Antwerp. This new service will commence as from sailing of the MSC Endurance which is departing Antwerp on the 18th of July 2010. |
