| SEALING PROCEDURE DRYVAN CNTRS. |
| We have established an increasing number of containers to be delivered at the MSC Home Terminal with incorrect sealing. MSC whishes to advise you that it is the Shippers obligation to properly seal the container, on the therefore allocated location, in compliance with ruling regulations. As of april 15th all containers which fail to comply with the attached instruction will be sealed by the Terminal Operator for account of the cargo. MSC will be obliged to charge you for the respective costs amounting to Euro 82,-- per container plus an administration fee of Euro 25,--. More info |

| We have established an increasing number of containers to be delivered at the MSC Home Terminal with incorrect sealing. MSC whishes to advise you that it is the Shippers obligation to properly seal the container, on the therefore allocated location, in compliance with ruling regulations. As of april 15th all containers which fail to comply with the attached instruction will be sealed by the Terminal Operator for account of the cargo. In addition to the door-seals special attention is required for sealing of the “air fresh vents” of reefer-containers. All MSC reefer-containers are properly air fresh vent sealed upon empty release from the respective depots. When reefer-containers are returned full at the MSC Home Terminal with incorrect, or no air fresh vent seals at all , the Terminal Operator will seal the air fresh vents for account of the cargo. MSC will be obliged to charge you for the respective costs amounting to Euro 50,-- per air fresh vent. More info |
| Drop Off Surcharge update Puerto Cabello/Venezuela |
| MSC hereby advises that current Container Drop Off Surcharge applicable for shipments to Puerto Cabello will be increased with effect from 15th January 2012 from Usd 325/cont to Usd 410/cont. This increase is based on inflation rate accumulated and projections for this year 2012 (approx. 30% as registered by the Central Bank of Venezuela) including haulier costs and operative increments. This surcharge is imperatively on prepaid basis resp for account of booking party. |

| We are pleased to announce that with immediate effect MSC starts to offer a service from/to PORTO VELHO in Brazil.This is a port located in the state of Rondônia close to Bolivian and Brazilian borders but this port will not be offered for Bolivian exports. Bolivia exports will continue to be routed via Chile.We will serve Porto Velho by barge via Manaus and Cristobal. Transit time : 7 days Porto Velho - Manaus and 7 days Manaus - Porto Velho. Frequency : Daily barges from/to ManausTerminal name : J.F.Oliveira Terminal.Feeder costs import and export : US$ 2250 x 20dv and US$ 3400 x 40’hc These costs are to be added on top of Manaus rates.VERY IMPORTANT : WE ONLY ACCEPT 40’HC i.o. ’40 DV!!! |
