Import Demurrage
Demurrage & Detention Demurrage charges at the port of Rotterdam on import cargo for all Services/Trades with the exception of the USA Trade:
- All dry-van containers
For all dry-van containers 3 working days free after discharge.
Demurrage is applicable until redelivery of the empty container to a designated MSC depot (In case of collection per barge 7 working days free are allowed).
- Reefercontainers
For reefercontainers 2 working days free time after discharge regardless of the mode of transport, otherwise same conditions apply as for dry-van containers.
Demurrage cost are not transferable to third parties. Charges will be made to the party who endorsed the Bill of Lading or paid the Freight.
