New port in Brazil - PORTO VELHO 29/12/2011
We are pleased to announce that with immediate effect MSC starts to offer a service from/to PORTO VELHO in Brazil.This is a port located in the state of Rondônia close to Bolivian and Brazilian borders but this port will not be offered for Bolivian exports. Bolivia exports will continue to be routed via Chile.We will serve Porto Velho by barge via Manaus and Cristobal. Transit time : 7 days Porto Velho - Manaus and 7 days Manaus - Porto Velho. Frequency : Daily barges from/to ManausTerminal name : J.F.Oliveira Terminal.Feeder costs import and export : US$ 2250 x 20dv and US$ 3400 x 40’hc These costs are to be added on top of Manaus rates.VERY IMPORTANT : WE ONLY ACCEPT 40’HC i.o. ’40 DV!!!
 

Restructuring of the IPAK service. 10/10/2011

NEW PORTS IN ARGENTINA: LAS PALMAS & SANTA FE 06/10/2011
We are pleased to inform you that we are now able to offer 2 new ports in Argentina with a new Argentina flag barge service in the Parana River: Santa Fe (ARSFN) and Las Palmas/Argentina (ARLPS) This service will be offered via Buenos Aires/Argentina. MSC offers 5 ports in the area now: Buenos Aires, Rosario (t/s via Navegantes/Brazil), Zarate (t/s via Navegantes/Brazil), Las Palmas/Argentina and Santa Fe.Transit time: Las Palmas/Argentina: 26 days - Sante Fe: 28 days
 

GRI Announcement to West Afrika as per October 15th, 2011. 04/10/2011
For and on behalf of our principal MSC S.A., Geneva, we like to inform you that MSC has decided to apply a Rate Restoration from NWC/West med/Baltic/Scand to West Afrika.The amount as from 15th October 2011 B/L date will be: Eur 75/20'and Eur 135/40'.
 

Rate restoration from October 15th, 2011 to Far and Middle East 03/10/2011
For and on behalf of our principal Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A., Geneva we like to inform you that the trade as from October the 15th a rate restoration is activated from any origin in Europe (NWC Scan Baltic, West and East Med and Black Sea) to any destination in Far East (China, Japan, Korea, South East Asia) and Middle East (Gulf and Iran).The quantum is USD 100 per 20 and 40'container.
