Special requirements

The following commodities are prohibited:

Jeddah

• Alcoholic beverages, pork, obscene literature, minerals, idols and statues.

Port Sudan

• Used clothes and used tyres

Yemen

• Used tyres, flaps and tubes, used foodware, used household goods and appliances, cars exceeding 7 years of age, motorcycles (including new), used furniture, used machinery, used heavy load moving equipment, heavy equipment and used equipment, used clothes, beds, blankets and all kind of furnitures and used spare parts.

Aqaba

• Cargo will be subject to public auction after 3 months.
  Cars older than 5 years are not accepted for Aqaba as they cannot be cleared by customs for use within Jordan. But same can be imported for re-export purposes and the final destination in this case has to be manifested as Ín Transit'or "Free Zone'.

Hazardous cargo

Hazardous cargo will be accepted subject to approval of MSC IMO desk.
